What birds are at BTA now?

The colorful Northern Cardinals are year-round residents and most often found near the Herb Garden, Picnic area and along Queen Creek. Other birds which can be seen and heard all year include the Canyon Wren (listen for them inside the Visitor Center and in nearly all of our Garden collections), Black-throated Sparrow, Curve-billed Thrasher, Verdin, Northern Mockingbird, Black Phoebe, Cooper’s Hawk, Broad-billed Hummingbird, Abert’s Towhee, Song Sparrow and Great-tailed Grackle.
