WHAT IS AAA HOCKEY?
AAA Hockey is a classification of hockey that surpasses the A level of competition found at the typical youth hockey level. Strong, dedicated players from multiple communities come together during the off-season and compete at a high level against other AAA teams. Levels of play are determined by a standardized system based on player birth years.(Example: U10 AAA teams will consist only of players born in the year 1999 and 2000, U12 is 1997 and 1998 birth years, U14 is 1995 and 1996, and U16 is 1993 and 1994 birth years).
