Whats with the overlays?
————————- On the first DVD volume, ADV used a large number of overlays to translate signs and other on screen Japanese characters. On the earlier VHS releases and later DVD volumes they used subtitles to explain the Japanese text. The overlays are very crisp and stand out against the softer and grainy original video, especially when the video shakes slight behind the perfectly still overlays.
