How are Wicca spells cast?
Before any Wicca casts a spell they must think through all the possible repercussions. They need to be absolutely sure that the spell is not manipulative in any way. In terms of Wiccan beliefs, spells are seen as holding power to change the course of the universe. For this reason they must be taken very seriously. There are many different kinds of Wicca spells. Spells may be simple using few words and actions or involve more complex rituals. These rituals may include casting a circle, invoking a deity, making a purpose statement, working the spell, meditation, thanking the Gods and Goddesses and closing the circle again.
