The area below Whitelaws Reef and above the rich Achilles Zone in the Morning Star was partially developed and stoped by WMC but never mined. The main reason for this was the catastrophic January 1939 Black Friday bushfires, which destroyed the entire town of Woods Point and the outbreak of WWII that same year.
