What does “CAPA” stand for?
“CAPA” means The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts. By clicking here, you can learn more about the history and mission of CAPA. Q: Why aren’t my seat numbers consecutive? A: Don’t worry, your seats are together. The seat numbers in our houses are done “European” style; that means that the outer sections do not have seats numbers that are in numerical order. Most venues’ seating is numbered, as theatre seating often is, with the odd-numbered seats on the left side of the house, and the even-numbered seats on the right. Q: Why can’t I find an event that I know is playing at one of CAPA’s venues? A: Because many other organizations rent the theatres from us, a variety of non-CAPA presented events can also be found in our venues. Most of these event listings can now be found here. For further information, you can also visit the artist’s or organization’s site. Q: I want to bring a large group, can I get any deals? A: For information on bringing a group, please click here or call
