Why did Moodle log me out?
Moodle will automatically logout a person who has been inactive for sixty minutes. The inactivity is determined by the server. The server does not recognize selecting radio buttons or typing in its HTML editor as activity. The server will recognize selecting the “Save” and “Update” buttons at the bottom of a pages as well as moving among courses. Particularly in the case of students taking quizzes, we recommend that students select the “Save without submitting” button after answering each question or a series of questions so the server is aware of activity for that quiz.
