How does anti-spam work?
When the Email Protection service detects that a junk email is about to invade your mailbox, the Email Protection service will prepare a rule to block it. These rules automatically block and take suspected spam out of your Inbox. The email is then redirected to the Spam folder where it is automatically deleted after 15 days so you dont have to do a thing. BT Openworld has invested in the Brightmail anti-spam product to significantly reduce the amount of spam that you receive.
