Is shark diving safe?
To date we have enjoyed a 100% operational record. This is not true for some other operations on at Isla Guadalupe who claim a 100% safety record and whose You Tube videos show sharks ripping apart their cages in 2007. Check first before you book. Shark Diver remains committed to Safe and Sane Shark Diving TM, it’s a way of doing shark dive operations right, the first time, every time.We do not use our cage systems as additional entertainment. Provoking these magnificent animals into smashing into a shark cage is not why we and hopefully, you, are here. Sharks in general have many myths surrounding them; one is that they are killing machines attacking anything in sight. We have found that even at the height of a feeding event with multiple animals on site, sharks prove to be cautious predators. That’s not to say divers should not always maintain a healthy respect for these awesome predators; in and out of the water!
