What does Hottrend do?
Hottrend watches an entire market in real-time and builds a historical database consisting of multidimensional profiles for each and every security traded on a particular exchange. While the market is open it compares activity patterns to the historical database in order to detect trends, as they are happening. The database and detection algorithms are self-adjusting, so it takes the new patterns into account. Once a stock fulfills a certain criteria or filter, it appears in the RealTime Radar.
