For accounting purposes ChilliSpot generates accounting records which are forwarded to the radius server. The following types of accounting records are generated: • Accounting start: A user was successfully authenticated by ChilliSpot. • Accounting stop: A user logged off. • Accounting interim: ChilliSpot can be configured to generate alive messages at fixed intervals. The accounting records contain information such as User-Name, MAC Address, IP Address, number of bytes transferred as well as the number of seconds connected.
