Will SSL luminaires be dimmable?
Yes. SSL luminaires can be dimmed, but it may be necessary to replace existing dimmer switches with ones that are compatible with the SSL luminaire. Check the packaging or materials of the luminaire manufacturer to find out what dimmer products are tested or approved for use with their product. As the SSL industry grows, more manufacturers will produce luminaires compatible with dimmers originally designed for incandescent products.
