Yes. The SP-510 UZs Macro mode has an operating range of 2.8 to infinity (wide) and 47.2 infinity (telephoto). To use Macro mode, set the mode dial to any shooting mode except GUIDE, and then press the Left arrow on the arrow pad. Use the Up and Down arrows to select the Macro icon (flower), and then press the OK/FUNC button to activate the setting. The Macro icon will be displayed on the LCD to indicate that Macro mode is active. Macro is disabled in the following scenes: LANDSCAPE, LANDSCAPE + PORTRAIT, NIGHT SCENE, NIGHT + PORTRAIT, SELF-PORTRAIT, SUNSET, FIREWORKS, SHOOT & SELECT1, and SHOOT & SELECT2. Macro is fixed to ON in the AUCTION scene.
