How does SRM effect the use of Petty cash?
A. There will still be the need to use Petty Cash accounts for some expenditure such as paying cash to care customers. However, where possible procurement cards should be the preferred method of purchase.Petty Cash expenditure can only be analysed down to G/L Account level; where petty cash is being used to purchase goods and services we would not have visibility of spend down to product category level.
