Our web filtering software is built on the open source software package Dansguardian. CIPA is more than a technology standard, as mentioned on the Dansguardian homepage: “Becoming CIPA compliant is a multi-step procedure that involves creating written policies, having open meetings for public input, technology planning and applying a technology protection measure. DansGuardian meets all of the requirements necessary for implementing a technology protection measure.” Additional information can be found on the Dansguardian website faq.
