Are unit trusts and OEICs risky?
Most investments carry risk. Because the money you put into a unit trust or OEIC is mixed (or ‘pooled’) with the investments of thousands of other investors and then spread across lots of different equities and other investment products there may be less risk to your money than if you invested your money all in one share.
