Can a vendors license be suspended?
YES. The Tax Commissioner may suspend a vendor’s license for failure to comply with filing and payment requirements. If a vendor’s license is suspended, the vendor cannot make taxable retail sales until the license is reinstated. A license will not be reinstated until the vendor has complied with the filing and payment requirements. A vendor may also be required to post security equal to one years tax liability.
