The AMPS computer-scoring software, AMPS 1.1 was designed for older operating systems, and was discontinued more than six years ago. Therapists may experience problems when using this program on new computer operating systems. It is recommended that AMPS 1.1 be used on a computer with Windows 95 or Windows 3.1. The AMPS computer-scoring software program has since undergone three significant upgrade revisions to remain current with new computer operating systems and updates to the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills as an evaluation tool. For example, the latest version of the AMPS computer-scoring software now includes new tasks and new reports! Therapists who have not stayed current with the AMPS materials and current practices will be required to take a new course before upgrading to the new software.
