All WebQuest have the 6 components as a lattice or scaffolding in which to build upon but every WebQuest is unique. WebQuest fall into 2 types, however. One type is Short-term. This kind of WebQuest is designed to be completed in 1 to 3 days. The main goal of a short-term WebQuest is to accumulate information. The second WebQuest type is the Long-term. The goal of the long-term WebQuest is to apply higher level thinking skills.
