Allen W. Quarles was from, and is buried in, Lufkin, Texas. Dora and Allen were married on April 21, 1951. Together they had the three children named above. Allen was an ordained “Church of God” minister. He was the pastor at several churches in Georgia and Florida. All of the churches where he was the pastor were small thereby requiring him to work as a self employed house painter in order to provide for his. Dora and Allen remained married until his death on April 26, 1966.
