Why was Enhanced Sign In introduced?
Enhanced Sign In was introduced to protect your Online Banking from fraud (e.g. Phishing). By validating a visual image and phrase chosen by you, you can feel increased reassurance that you are accessing a legitimate BMO site. Challenge questions are asked when you are attempting to access Online Banking through a computer that you have not recognized as one that you usually use (e.g. A computer at an internet café). These steps are designed to provide additional layers of protection to your Online Banking access.
