Let’s be honest, girls are attracted to guys who can take them out and show them a good time. By no means is the guy obligated to work magic on every single date, but he should definitely step up and plan an amazing date every once in a while. Many in the dating game are already familiar with the safe and reliable date places – movies, dinner, bar, etc. I’m going to share with you some more creative and unique date ideas that you can save for those special occasions.
How about paint ball or laser tag together? You’d be surprised at your girl’s competitive streak when she gets the opportunity to show it off. Because paint ball can be a tad rough and leave bruises, laster tag is the less intense and friendly version – but just as fun!
How about making her a 3-course romantic dinner from scratch and setting up some candles and music at your place? This is sure to impress her since obviously this takes a lot more effort than making reservations at a restaurant. To make it even more interesting, move the dinner to the living room or some other unusual location in your apartment besides the kitchen. What a change it will be to sit in close intimacy, wrapped around each other while enjoying a delicious meal.
Surprise her with tickets to an improv show, play, or band. They don’t need to be super pricey – just some performance that the both of you can enjoy together.
Go to the beach for a day! There’s sun, surf and hours on end of relaxation – what else do you need?
The Big Three Every one knows about “The Big Three”. These are the normal, safe dates that will cause no waves. They aren’t very creative, but they are universally accepted: A Movie – Inviting someone to a movie is definitely safe. It is probably the #1 first date. You can go to a first-run film or a 99¢ movie. One good way to make it a little interesting is to let your date choose the film, or put a bunch of movie names in a hat and pick one at random when you get together. You might also check out the “Alternative” movie scene, especially if you live in a good-size city. Most cities have a small theater that plays foreign or limited-run films. Local museums may also have off-the-wall films. A museum in our area, for example, plays movies outside in the summer and people bring picnics and blankets to watch the films.
