Every year, somewhere around the start of December, the club goes to a nice hut by Grasmere in the Lake District for some Christmas celebrations. Saturday is spent on the hill walking, scrambling, or climbing and on the saturday evening a full Christmas dinner is cooked by the social sec (and his/her helpers) and is followed by fun games and large amounts of alcohol. Sunday is normally spent recovering (either on the hill or in the hut).
