Who is The Little Prince?
He is a little boy with golden hair who lives on asteroid B 612. He leaves his asteroid to make friends, leaving behind a rose that, because he is too young, he does not yet realise that he loves. In the course of his travels, he meets “grown-ups” who have lost the candour and commonsense of childhood. In the desert, a fox teaches him the meaning of the word “tame” and that “what is essential is invisible to the eye”. The Little Prince finally comes to understand the importance of his rose and decides to return to his planet and to her.
