What is a map marker?
A map marker is a profile of a green-minded person, business, event, location, attraction or action point. Markers appear on the map in accordance with their real world locations. All markers are created and added to the map by users. There is no cost for creating markers. You can add as many markers to the map as you like. Anyone can search the map but only Eco-mmunity members can create markers and add them to the map. There is no cost to joining Eco-mmunity and it takes only a few moments to fill out a membership webform. To join, simply click the “add a marker button” and fill out the short membership form that pops-up and in no time, you’ll be creating markers for the map. We welcome and encourage you to join in and begin adding markers to the Eco-mmunity map. All shades of green are welcome!
