Why the Yucatan Peninsula?
It is a really simple decision, the Yucatan Peninsula is paradise. Most people have heard of Cancun, and it can be the right destination for some, but the rest of the Peninsula offers something for everyone. Let me start with the best parts of the Yucatan Peninsula. – Weather — The Yucatan has sunshine almost every day of the year. There is very little rain and low humidity. – Beaches — Too many beaches to count. Each one is unique and the make-up is different depending on which side of the Peninsula you are on. The beaches on the Caribbean Sea are perfect. The sand is white and very fine. The water is blue and crystal clear, you can see to the bottom when snorkeling on top. The beaches on the Gulf side of the Peninsula are made up of more of a rocky sand. The water is not as clear, but it is still warm. – Beach Bars — The Hammock Bar in Isla Mujeres was by far my favorite. Just order a drink and spend the day relaxing in a hammock, or swing.
