How much do services cost?
The initial base rate for any lead is $19.80 per element. However, we do offer competitive volume discounts as well as package rates that are available and which would combine multiple elements into one standard report for all applicants. There is no charge for a physical and mental office visits. This is an automatic savings of $75-$200 compared to a private clinic. Physical exams, tuberculosis skin tests (PPDs) and HIV screens are also free. All laboratory tests, x-ray services, immunizations, and procedures are offered at greatly reduced cost. United HealthCare, a type of student insurance, pays for most care done at the SHCC. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska pays for much of the care given here but depends on the individual policy. We submit claims for students for these insurance companies.
