What is the importance of literature from the past?

0

Literature is extremely important! It teaches us of the past and how to communicate! If literature didn’t exist, we’d all be primitive, mute, cave-people). Man (as in civilizations) has learnt a lot from literature, many things have developed from it — films, modern stories or fairytales, and life in general. It’s also useful for us to see life as it was in the past and to see how much more educated people were back then, than they are now.
