What does aggravated mean?
The term Aggravated is used by Doctors to refer to a condition being made worse by some complicating factor. The end effect is a wound which does not heal as it should. For a vampire, a normal wound might heal over the day, during the daysleep, or by using a point of blood to force an immediate healing of the wound. An Aggravated wound simply refuses to heal. If left to the healing process of the daysleep, the healing might take days, weeks, months or years. If the vampire desires a quick healing there are two options: • By forcing five blood points into the wound and spending a point of Willpower, he can heal the wound immediately. Only one wound level is healed, but this process is repeatable as long as the vampire has lots of blood and willpower to spend. • If the vampire waits until time for his daysleep, he can force five blood points into the wound and allow the daysleep to heal the wound.
