Is the mulberry paper acid free?
The process of making mulberry paper in general results in a ph neutral paper (also known as Acid free). While our suppliers are reputable they do not test every batch of paper, but every batch that has ever been tested, has been acid free. Lignin is commonly found in wood, especially in the core of a tree stem, but less in the bark. Since mulberry paper is made from bark, it is termed as lignin free though this actually means that it contains little lignin.
