What is a paintball marker?
“Marker” is the word paintball enthusiasts use to refer to the paintball guns. They are euphemistically called “markers” as a way to show the mainstream that paintball isn’t war-like or encouraging violence. Paintballs are held in a hopper on top of the paintball markers. The loader grabs a ball and positions it in the marker’s chamber. Pressurized nitrogen or carbon dioxide then propels the paintball out of the marker and onto the target.
