Why were curse words invented?
Curse words were invented because people need an emphatic way to release emotion. All curse words are emotional words. They express strong feelings in one or two words. When someone curses, they are feeling some sort of deep emotion that they either cannot express in any other way, or in some cases they do not know enough of the vocabulary to express in any other way. You will often find uneducated people using more curse words than educated people, just because the uneducated people don’t know enough words to express themselves in an emotional situation.
