Why do so many people insult scene kids?
Probably because so many people associated it with the emo culture and there is huge hate for the emo lifestyle due to misinformation spread online, many just don’t like it cause it’s deemed ‘cool’ not to and they are trying to fall in with the crowd and me accepted. Many of the ideals being passed along in the emo culture are those opposite to that of the punk culture, and since emo evolved from punk, many punks find it an insult.
