AirTran announced that we have filed a Form S-4 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission. An S-4 filing is commonly referred to as a “tender offer”. In other words, AirTran is making an offer directly to the Midwest Airlines shareholders to buy all outstanding shares of Midwest Air Group (the parent company of Midwest Airlines). This tender offer is subject to certain limitations.
