Is it fun to live in Key West, Florida?
I lived in Key West for nearly 10 years. It is a fantastic little town. One of the unique things about the place is the fact that it is a small town, yet everyone living there is from absloutely elsewhere, and not just from the States, but from all over the world. So you have a small town atmosphere with this very worldly culture. After you’re there for a while, it takes three hours just to step out to grab a newspaper, because you are constantly bumping into friends and co-workers to chat. It is also one of the US cities you can live in and not need a car. I junked my car after about 18 months living there, and never bought another one until I left–just rode my bike everywhere. If I needed a car, I just borrow or rent one. Key West is where the weird turn pro, it is the worlds’ largest outdoor-air insane asylum. Key West is where you don’t know your best friends last name (I made that one up myself). The only thing not tolerated in Kew West is intolerance. If you move there, youy MUS
