WCW will always have a long legacy in the business, but it’ll be in black and white, and no I don’t mean that as a pun about the nWo, I mean some things about WCW were good, and some, well, not so. For example, one of the good things are introducing mainstream american wrestling audiences to lucha libre, ECW also introduced Lucha Libre, and not to discredit it’s accomplishments, but WCW was more mainstream and introduced it to a wider audience, without WCW you may not see Rey Mysterio in WWE, instead he would probably be wrestling in AAA or another mexican promotion. One of the bad things was it’s strong need to bring in hollywood aspects to the show, what I mean is, having Sting team with Robocop, having Rick Steiner get in an argument with Chucky, and making freakin David Arquette WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Another one was poor booking and poor talent management, established guys like Hogan and Savage got the spotlight, and guys like Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho got the scra
