Trusted resolution refers to the use of secure protocols during the resolution process. XRI Resolution 2.0 offers three trusted resolution modes: • Use of HTTPS endpoints throughout the resolution chain. • Use of signed SAML assertions throughout the resolution chain. • Both of the above. Trusted resolution is an optional feature of an XRI resolver and an XRI authority server and need not be implemented by every resolution client or server.
