Bluebird Gardens is located in “Rolla, pronounced with an A at the end, not an “O.” Rolla is located in the middle of United States of America, State of Missouri, on a plateau on the edge of the Ozark hills. Rolla was established in 1855 as “a child of the railroad,” almost the end of the railroad line that started in St. Louis. It was also one of the stops along historic Route 66. According to the 2010 US Census, Rolla’s population grew almost 20% in the last 10 years, ending up with a population of around 27,000, including Missouri S&T students. Rolla is the proud home of computer chip manufacturer Brewer Science and radiated glass manufacturer Mo-Sci: one of the top technological engineering schools in the country Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) which has 7,000+ students a year and hosts award-winning Solar Miner II car and annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration mid-March.
