When to use a “WS” heat exchanger model?

0

This shell & tube heat exchanger is designed and built for heating liquids with saturated steam. The steam is admitted – into the shell side – through an oversized inlet nozzle. The fluid to be heated flows through the tube side. The baffles on these models are designed to permit the condensate to travel along the inside of the shell. The condensate is then allowed to exit the shell from the bottom drain.
