What does BRL mean?
The term “BRL” stands for below reporting limit or non-detect. When a laboratory reports the level of a specific chemical as “BRL”, it means that the laboratory equipment cannot identify that chemical in the sample. Note: “BRL” does not mean zero, it simply means that the sample does not have any measurable contaminants in it or the concentrations are lower than the reporting limit (RL) or the method detection limit (MDL).
