What is fine silver or PMC?
Microscopic particles of silver or gold are mixed with a moist organic binder to create a material that has the feel and working properties of modeling clay. Using simple tools, objects are given shape, texture, and character. After air-drying, the objects are kiln heated to temperatures approaching the melting point of the metal, where the water and binder completely burn away allowing the silver or gold particles to fuse together to form solid .999 silver or gold metal. The piece can then be fired, soldered, or enameled.
