Why does some spam get past GWGuardian?
GWGuardian is not a perfect solution. It uses an algorithm to try to automatically identify spam, and sometimes it guesses incorrectly, letting spam though – a false negative. GWGuardian is not meant to be a perfect filter, but to simply provide enough relief from the over 4 million spam messages Loyola receives every month to make email easier to use.
