Is safe to live Chile?
Many people’s have the misconception that because Chile is in South America, it has jungles, mosquitoes, malaria, dengue, and yellow fever, poisonous snakes, piranhas and tribes of jungle indians, as yet undiscovered by modern society. NONE of the above can be used to describe this most wonderful, precious land of many faces….this country some peoples know only by its name. Chile definitively is the safest and modern country in the entire region, with very stable democratic government, high per capita GDP, low population density, safe, ethical and well educated society, with a low rate of poverty and unemployment. From the perspective of delinquency, in fact, crime statistics are notoriously difficult to compare across other countries, mostly because reporting practices vary so much, but they confirm the widespread view that Chile has one of Latin America’s lowest crime rates. Kidnapping is, for example, virtually non-existent.
