What if I don’t have access to a computer?
If you’re an on campus or metropolitan student, just visit your nearest ECU eLab or Library. Otherwise, try your local library or an internet café – you’ll find that you can log on just about anywhere. If you don’t have computer or internet access and it’s impossible for you to gain access, don’t worry. We can continue to post your information to you as long as you can demonstrate that it is too difficult for you to access your email – just fill in our Request for Hard Copy Correspondence form and send it back to us as soon as you can. However, we strongly recommend that you try to organise internet and email access if you don’t already have it. In today’s university environment it’s important that you make the most of information technology. You can use the internet to help you with your studies and research, and by using email you’ll receive information from us much faster than you used to. As an ECU student you already have free internet access – click here to find out how.
If you don’t have access to a computer, you can obtain information through: • WAP phones (available through DBS Vickers Online Hong Kong for Hong Kong and North American trading). • Our Investment Service Centre in Hong Kong at (852) 2902 3888 if you are a customer of DBS Vickers Online Hong Kong or our Investment Service Centre in Singapore at (65) 6327 2288 if you are a customer of DBS Vickers Online Singapore. These centres operate from 8:00 a.m. Monday through 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
