I use wool and yarn instead of synthetic hair because I like the colors and textures available with yarn and it looks great with loads of other materials like ribbon, beads and plastic. I prefer wool roving dreads over synthetic because theyre softer and more natural looking in my opinion (baring the funny colors, not much looks natural when its bright purple).
