What are digital portfolios?
A digital portfolio is a collection of items stored in a digital format including spreadsheet and word processed document files, drawings, photographs, digital video and music. Items are created by students in their time at school and stored in a portfolio folder which can then be copied onto an external form of media eg burnt to a CD or copied to a USB stick. The portfolio of digital items can be accessed by teachers, parents and students for reference and stored for posterity.
