What is meant by CADR?
CADR, Clean Air Delivery Rate, measures the amount of 100-percent clean air that the air cleaner produces in a room. The higher the CADR, the more clean air the air cleaner produces and the more effective it is. CADR takes into account both the airflow through the air cleaner and the degree of filtration. The consumer can thus compare air cleaners that use different techniques. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of an air cleaner, you must take into account the combined effects of the degree of filtration and the airflow. An air cleaner that has a 99.97 % degree of filtration but has low air flow i.e that does not draw enough air through it, does little good. In the same way, an air cleaner that moves a lot of air but that has a poor degree of filtration also does little good. Where should Electrolux Air cleaner be placed?
