Sailor V is a manga series the creator of Sailor Moon did first. It ran for 3 issues and dealt with the adventures of Aino Minako (Sailor Venus) who meets up with Artemis and gains the ability to turn into Sailor V and fight evil. The characters of Aino Minako was brought to the Sailor Moon series as Sailor Venus. One of the main villains in the Sailor V series, Ace, appears to have been an early version of the 4 kings/generals who worked for Beryl. You don’t have to know what went on in Sailor V to know what’s going on in Sailor Moon, but it’s still very interesting.
