Who is spring heeled jack?
Not quite the yeti, not quite the chupacabra, in the last two hundred years or so, Spring Heeled Jack has worked his way from being a negative to a positive, almost romantic figure–and back again. It is surprising that no few psychoanalytic analyses have been made of the the man, the myth and his many times, but I shall leave it up to the reader to do his or her own further research and, with hope, come to some of his or her own interesting conjectures,l if not conclusions.
