What is Choice Based Lettings?
It is a way of letting Council homes. Rather than us deciding which property goes to which applicant, we now give you the choice to ‘bid’ or not to bid for an empty property. You tell us where you would like to live and your application helps us decide whether you require a 2, 3 or 4 bedroom home. When a property becomes available, we invite the top 20 applicants on the list for that type, size and location of property to let us know if they would like to be considered for that property.
